The Debate last night . . .

Ok friends, the final debate is over . .

I am convinced, more than ever, that the democratic candidate will surely increase your taxes, some way, some how, he will do it. Seniors, expect higher taxes on your social security check - he promises it! Teenagers, expect it to be hard to find decent work, he promises that too with an increase in the minimum wage (which, by the by, if you force employers to increase their base salary, that will also increase the taxes by which the employer pays and the employee!!!) And just don't get me started on foriegn policy - the democratic candidate will allow the bad guys to bomb us and then ask the UN if it is okay if we shoot back.

What a bummer!

O dear, I am still sad . . . life must go on without the Cubbies! Sorry, but cannot cheer on the Cardinals but I doubt that Houston has a chance. And now I am experiencing that issue with the "return" key to make my life more frustrating than it already is . . . so you will have to experience on paragraph for this entry. Other things happening this past week was Homecoming at the local high school - lots of glitter and hairspray! Also a fender bender for me in the parking lot picking up my child. An expensive Homecoming! My question of the day is . . do you think that car dealers actually try to sell the same service to all its service customers regardless of need???? I.E., a visit to your dealer for a simple oil change leads to a brake job . . . for you and for four other people waiting in the lounge?? Just wondering . .

We are cooked!

That huge "awwwwwww" is coming from Chicago. The Cubs lost again. We are almost out of gas. I haven't seen anything sink so fast since my battery powered radio fell off the kitchen window ledge into a dishpan full of water.

Thank goodness it was battery powered. Rats! My rechargeable batteries were inside!!! Now what do I do.

The weather is not cooperating either. It is Homecoming and the game is a bit later but rain is in the forcast. Dark clouds are in the west. I hope we don't have to sit in the rain. I don't think we will which means I get to sew tonight.

So now, I say something I hope I never would have to say - GO ROCKIES!! Beat those Houston stinkers!
